Martha Hunt is the 2018 NCAPA Endowment Student Grant recipient at the High Point University PA Program. Prior to PA school, Ms. Hunt graduated Summa Cum Laude in Biology and Spanish from NC State University. She stayed very busy with extracurricular activities, including tutoring for the Boys and Girls Clubs, fundraising for the Duke Miracle Children’s Network, and serving as a college ambassador and teaching assistant. During PA school, Martha has volunteered in meal packaging for needy families, in drives for storm relief efforts, and in first aid tents at local events. Ms. Hunt intends to pursue emergency medicine and to serve as a mentor and future preceptor. Congratulations to Martha for her past work and best wishes for a successful career as a PA who promises to continue her leadership and advocacy for patients and the PA profession.
The NCAPA Endowment board gratefully thanks all who have made generous donations making these scholarships and other grants possible. Please consider supporting PA students and practicing PAs who continue to do the work of providing excellent health care services in North Carolina.
