Application for NCAPA Liaison Appointments

Thank you for your interest in serving as a North Carolina Academy of PAs Appointee. We are currently recruiting interested candidates for the following:

• North Carolina Professionals Health Program (NCPHP) Board of Directors
• North Carolina Medical Board Review Panel

Your willingness to serve is of great value to the public, your colleagues, and your profession. Expectations of Appointees are outlined below. Applications are due by May 31, 2025.

Appointees are expected to:

1. Regularly attend meetings.
2. Prepare for meetings by reading all materials that are distributed in advance.
3. Ask questions to get enough information necessary to make informed decisions.
4. Use your own judgment rather than substituting the judgment of staff or other board members are your own.
5. Participate in scheduled meetings with the NCAPA Board of Directors and be available for questions from the NCAPA Board of Directors and NCAPA staff.
