NCAPA Officers and Directors
NCAPA’s Nominating Committee is now accepting nominations for President-Elect, Treasurer, three (3) Director-at-Large positions and one (1) Nominating-Committee-At-Large position. All terms begin January 1, 2014.
Only nominations made by an NCAPA Fellow or Associate member in good standing during the year prior to the election will be considered.
Nomination forms for candidates must be received no later than May 10, 2013. Self-nominations are due August 1, 2013.
AAPA House of Delegates
Nominations are now open for NCAPA representatives to the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) 2014 and 2015 House of Delegates (HOD). The AAPA HOD is the representative governance body for the national professional organization. It is comprised of delegates who represent chapters and other constituent groups.
NCAPA is apportioned seven (7) slots based upon North Carolina’s percentage of AAPA Fellow membership. Six (6) seats are open, since NCAPA policy requires that the current president serve as the chief delegate.
Delegates from North Carolina are being accepted for the term of office beginning July 1, 2013, and ending June 30, 2015, Fellow Members may self-declare or nominate another Fellow Member.
In order to be eligible, candidates must
- Be a Fellow Member in good standing through the previous calendar year
- Submit a letter of intent and brief platform statement no later than May 3, 2013.
