DESCRIPTION:The NCAPA\, in collaboration with the Duke University PA Program\, is pleased to offer a beginner’s point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) workshop led by regional POCUS experts from Duke University Medical Center. This 3-hour workshop will provide an overview of broadly useful exams\, including soft tissue\, musculoskeletal\, and early obstetric ultrasound. Attendees will receive didactic instruction on the fundmentals of POCUS\, followed by small-group\, hands-on sessions with live models and a high-fidelity ultrasound simulator.
