Aaron Peterson is the Duke University PA student recipient of the NCAPA Endowment’s 2018 William Franklin Cobb scholarship. Before entering PA school, Aaron graduated Magna Cum Laude in Microbiology and Chemistry while concurrently working as a firefighter/paramedic. He volunteered at the Maliheh Free Clinic in Salt Lake City for three years, has done missionary work in South Africa, and is active in the Boy Scouts of America. Aaron plans to continue his work with under-served populations, whether within the US or abroad. The NCAPA Endowment board congratulates Aaron Peterson and looks forward to seeing his passions turn into direct benefits for patients who are among the neediest on the globe.
The NCAPA Endowment board gratefully thanks all who have made generous donations making these scholarships and other grants possible. Please consider supporting PA students and practicing PAs who continue to do the work of providing excellent health care services in North Carolina.
