The NCAPA Endowment board congratulates Rebecca Stolorena as the 2018 NCAPA Endowment Grant recipient from the Gardner-Webb University PA Program. Prior to PA school, Rebecca attended the University of Georgia, earning a BS in Biology and Psychology. She was a proficient researcher in areas such as infectious disease and cystic fibrosis. Rebecca volunteered within her college’s alumni relations activities, yet her passion drove her into extensive volunteering in the “UGA Miracle” group, UNICEF at UGA and Manna Project International, with a focus on benefiting children regionally and internationally.
Once in PA school, Rebecca continued her dedication to service, both in the community and as the NCAPA Student Representative from Gardner-Webb. Not surprisingly, her career goals include working in under-served populations, with specific emphasis on preventive medicine and helping caregivers. There is no doubt that any community will benefit from Rebecca’s compassion and care!
The NCAPA Endowment board gratefully thanks all who have made generous donations making these scholarships and other grants possible. Please consider supporting PA students and practicing PAs who continue to do the work of providing excellent health care services in North Carolina.
