On October 8, 2024, the NCAPA hosted a convening of PA leaders from across the state at the Stead Center in Durham. The participants started the morning with a coffee hour and scavenger hunt to break the ice and help them get to know their fellow PA leaders.
Activities for the day included learning about AAPA Competencies for PAs in Healthcare Administration, small group discussions on issues PAs are most concerned about, and a collaborative brainstorming session on how PAs in leadership positions can best be supportive and supported.
The NCAPA was honored to host NC Secretary of State Elaine Marshall as the lunchtime keynote speaker. Secretary Marshall provided insights into her own leadership journey and thoughtful advice for the PA leaders in attendance.
Thank you to all PA leaders, attendees, special guests, and Secretary of State, Elaine Marshall, for an impactful day at the NCAPA Stead Center, focused on growth, networking, and collaboration.
