Through generous online and cash donations from members of the Piedmont Association of Physician Assistants (PAPA), and in collaboration with food drives held by the PA Programs at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and High Point University during PA Week, the 4th Annual PAPA Fights Hunger community service initiative exceeded their goal of providing 9,800 meals to those in need. Instead, this year’s campaign will provide nearly 12,000 meals through Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina to those facing food insecurity. This year more than ever our local food banks needed our support so thank you to all who donated.
