About the NCAPA PA Day at the Legislature
PA Day at the NC Legislature, which will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026 from 9am-2pm, is NCAPA’s annual advocacy day where practicing PAs, PA students, and PA advocates meet with legislators at the NC General Assembly in Raleigh, NC.
NCAPA’s 2025 advocacy day was the largest attendance to date, with 200+ practicing PAs and PA students traveling to Raleigh, NC, from across the state. The goal of this year? To thank legislators for enacting PA Team-Based practice and joining the PA Compact as well as continuing to spread awareness of the PA profession and the role with play in caring for patients across NC.
NCAPA invites all NCAPA Members and Student Members to meet with legislators and your representatives, with the goal of sharing information about PAs and their scope of practice, while advocating for the protection and enhancement of PA rights within the state.
If you have any questions regarding PA Day at the Legislature and/or NCAPA Advocacy, please contact NCAPA CEO, Emily Adams, at emily.adams@ncapa.org.
