Why you love being a PA and why membership in your state Academy is so vitally important.
Our February I Am NCAPA member highlight is Laura Orsban. Laura is a graduate of Bowman Gray, aka the Wake Forest University PA program. She currently specializes in Orthopedic Surgery and works at Novant Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Winston Salem.
Laura has been a member of NCAPA since “inception” – she’s been supporting NCAPA and PAs in North Carolina a long time! She thinks NCAPA “is a top notch organization that advocates for our profession” and loves being a PA as she is able to “educate and enable patients to take ownership of their problems and try to improve or accept them.” NCAPA is very fortunate to have so many great PAs in North Carolina – and even moreso to have great PAs like Laura be a part of NCAPA and the continued growth of the profession throughout the state.
