Medicaid Expansion Advocacy Bootcamp

February 21, 2023 by Emily Adams

NCAPA is co-sponsoring an event with Doctors for America for a White Coat Medicaid Expansion Boot Camp training on Saturday, March 4 from 9am-1:30 at the Stead Center. This training is open to physicians, trainees, and other clinician advocates to learn how to talk about Medicaid expansion with patients, legislators and the public.

Expanding access to insurance is on NCAPA’s legislative agenda, so we are proud to support these efforts and offer this training to our members.

Join Doctors for America for an advocacy training at the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (NCAPA) at 1121 Slater Road in Durham, NC, 27703 on Saturday, March 4 from 9am ET – 1:30pm ET. In this training you’ll learn about that status of Medicaid Expansion from our coalition partner in NC, Care for Carolina, how to have an effective and impactful meeting with a legislator, messaging and media interview best practices, and more.

Please note this training is open to public health advocates in North Carolina only. There are both virtual and in-person attendance options. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided for in-person attendees. This event is free. Please register through the links below:
