“Life is a precious gift, and we never fully know the length of that gift. My friend, Mufiyda would encourage all to always attempt to serve others and to never stop dancing!”

“Some people just make the world a better place! Mufiyda was one of those people. I first met Mufiyda at a local PA meeting in Charlotte several years ago. She had gentle eyes, a soft demeanor, and an incredibly warm smile. I knew in an instant that we would be friends, may be fate, maybe because we shared a Christmas Eve birthday. Mufiyda Abraham received her bachelor’s degree from Howard University and her PA training at Wake Forest University. Her desire to care for the underserved led her to Atrium Health NorthPark Family Medicine 5 years ago. She had great rapport with her patients because of her authentic kindness and expert medical knowledge. She had a heart for serving her patients and serving her community. The last time I was with her we were pulling weeds at the Hospitality House of Charlotte. Unfortunately, she passed away just 4 months later.”
“Mufiyda had a passion for fitness and dance. She was a ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and was also certified as a Kukuwa African Dance Instructor. She taught group lessons at NorthPark Family Medicine, as well as at the American Academy of Physician Assistants national conference.”
“Life is a precious gift, and we never fully know the length of that gift. My friend, Mufiyda would encourage all to always attempt to serve others and to never stop dancing!”
“In her honor, kindly donate to the African Heritage PA Caucus Scholarship Fund.”
